The Titan arum, an exotic plant which blooms only once every seven to 10 years, has been growing in the Auckland Domain Wintergardens for the last seven years. It is expected to flower completely overnight this week end.
Sometimes also known as the corpse flower, it produces a smell like rotting flesh when it is in bloom.
