Stewart Howard, of Bentley Park, a non-smoker, was leading a healthy life when he got diagnosed with terminal lung cancer in 2011.
Doctors told him that he has just a few months to live his life and would probably be dead by Easter 2012. But that did not happen as stranger donated Howard his organ.

The researchers have discovered a Koala skull from Queensland, which said to be 20 million year old. The researchers claimed that the skull belongs to a new species and have named the species after the name of an Australian Geographic founder and expert Dick Smith.
Swinburne Bans Smoking Across its Four Campuse

To be introduced from August 12, smoking bans will prohibit smoking across the four campuses of Swinburne. This first Victorian university to consider the ban across its campuses and has received applauds for the same from Health Minister David Davis.
Sub-Group of Cells Found Spreading Prostate Cancer

According to a research carried out by a group of researchers from Monash University, a sub-group of cells has been found in the early stage of prostate cancer that do not respond to treatment.
Lead researcher Prof. Gail Risbridger said they took tumor samples from 12 men, who were diagnosed with early-stage prostate cancer. Gail said they used the samples in grafting procedure onto the mice.
