Fifth Month Consecutive Rise in Euro-Zone Production

Industrial output in 16 countries that use Euro rose for the fifth consecutive month this September. Data shows that the currency zone is back to its periodical growth in the third quarter.

Eurostat said from August, the industrial output has increased 0.3%, which is however 12.9% weaker than September previous year.

Europe's top ranked private label supplier McBride has revealed that it has seen a 7% rise in revenue so far in the current fiscal year. High demand from shoppers, more than expected favorable rates of exchange and more contract gains are being credited by the firm as key elements which have boosted its performance in times when most other companies have been hit hard by the economic downturn.

The figures posted by McBride have been even better than what was posted last year, around the same time.

Now the users abroad will find sending a text message in Europe almost three times cheaper than the previous rates, the credit of which goes to new European Union rules that went into effect Wednesday.

Under the new rules, making roaming calls to another EU country cannot cost more than 0.43  per minute, and no more than 0.19  to receive a call.
