According to IDC analyst Claus Mortensen, game developers who have achieved the heights of popularity by developing for the Facebook platform but are now thinking of parting ways with the social networking site, may end up losing rather than gaining from such a move.

That Amazon is strategically aiming expanding the reach of its digital bookstore to on as many platforms as possible further became evident from the company’s Monday announcement that it will release a new Kindle app for Android smartphones this summer.

Microsoft to release a major feature update for Hotmail

In a Tuesday announcement, Microsoft said that it will release a major feature update for its Hotmail service later this summer. The Modernized Hotmail will bring for the nearly 360 million Hotmail users a host of new features like improved e-mail filtering; enhanced media viewing; and document-editing.
Queensland Government sells timber business for $A603 million

The Queensland government announced today that it has sold its timber business Forestry Plantations Queensland for more than $A600 million to Hancock Queensland Plantations of US. The Government said that it has got more sale price than expected. This was reported the first transaction of the five commercial businesses sales by the Queensland Government.
