According to the Gamespot report, the game boasts one of the biggest open worlds ever created by Ubisoft. The game has a 21-region map; with distinct towns, waterways, and areas for each region, as well as 11 unique ecosystems.

About the amazing 21-region map of 'Ghost Recon: Wildlands,' technical art director Benoit Martinez explained in a recent statement that Ubisoft has worked out a "full agenda" for NPCs who "really live in the world" of the game.
