A new, beefy and off-road-ready version of the Sierra 2500HD pickup truck has just been unveiled by GMC. The newly-introduced half-ton pickup truck is 2017 GMC Sierra 2500HD All Terrain X.

In announcing the new Sierra 2500HD All Terrain X, GMC said that the pickup truck will become available for purchase in the coming weeks. The details on the pricing of the new pickup will be disclosed by GMC close to the truck's on-sale date.

The forthcoming availability of the All Terrain X package on the Sierra 2500HD pickup truck brings along an exhaustive list of upgrades. Some of the most notable upgrades include the Z71 off-road suspension package, twin-tube Rancho shock absorbers, an Eaton automatic locking rear differential, and thick underbody skid plates for protecting crucial mechanical components from impacts.

In addition, though the All Terrain X comes with hardly any under-the-hood modifications, it boasts the inclusion of features like an eight-inch touchscreen which runs GMC's IntelliLink infotainment system, a remote-starting system, spray-in bedliner, front and rear park assist, a rear-view camera, a heated steering wheel, and leather seats.

The 2017 GMC Sierra 2500HD All Terrain X will be available in two color options -- onyx black, and summit white -- and will sport black bumper trim along with black mirror caps and beltline moldings.
