Scarves from Ivanka Trump’s Branded Line Recalled Over “Burn Risk”

Ivanka Trum's father, Donald Trump the Republican Presidential hopeful has often criticized companies which outsource their manufacturing assignments abroad. He even threatened to impose taxes on Chinese imports in case he is elected but has admitted that a certain amount of his own products were also made abroad.

In a recent incident, Ivanka Trum's scarf collections were recalled over a "burn risk."

Approximately 20,000 of Ivanka Trump branded scarves were recalled by the U. S. Consumer Product Safety Commission as those failed to meet fire safety standards that are needed for clothing textiles.

The recall notice states, "Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled scarves and return them to the place where purchased for a full refund. Consumers who purchased the scarves online will be contacted directly by online retailers with return instructions."

The styles that have been recalled are Beach Wave designed in blue and yellow and Brushstroke Oblong that are styled in green, blue and red. The scarves are made of 100percent rayon selling for a range between $12 and $68.

The retailers selling the scarves include online retailer Amazon and Marshalls, TJ Maxx, Lord & Taylor and other big retailers.

Ivanka Trum launched her brand in 2007, starting with a jewelry collection and later moving into a range of clothing and accessories.
