ATM Trouble Faced by Customers of Westpac Overcome

WestpacThe inconvenience caused by the faults in credit card payments, was overcome by Sunday afternoon, said Westpac spokeswoman.

The problem arose when a customer reportedly that his credit card payments were showing a denial message unpredictably.

Following the problem with the credit card, the customer when tried to use his ATM, the card was taken in by the machine.

The customer was then informed that the problems were occurring with many other customers as well and the reason was some computer software up gradation causing unnecessary malfunctioning.

The spokeswoman said that although the customer care call centers have been receiving complaints about the cards not functioning properly, but it was not confirmed whether the cards were swallowed by the machines or not.

She also said that the problem was solved within two hours and that the trouble affected a few hundred customers.
