Strictly Come Dancing might have an addition in the name of Michelle Keegan. According to reports, the actress could take a break from the ITV soap The Coronation Street where she plays the role of Tina McIntyre. A spokesperson from the show talking on the matter said, "Offers to our actors are considered on merit."

However, a source from Strictly Come Dancing stated, "We have our hit-list and it's Michelle who tops it. We want her but we know it will be a battle to get her."

Talking about her love life, Michelle opened up about her split from singer Max George, saying "We're not engaged any more, but not because we fell out or there was an argument. It was just there was no chance of us getting married any time soon because of our schedules. "He's away in America most of the time now and we just had a word about it. I'm a traditionalist so if I'm engaged, I want to get married and that's not happening soon. "I was getting asked by everyone: 'Have you set a date? Have you been shopping with your mum? Have you chosen your dress?' So we just thought that we'd just say we're not engaged and then nobody will ask and there's no pressure." However she maintains that she and Max are very much in love.
