A report has uncovered lately that a billboard erected by the Equippers Church in New Zealand has given rise to an outrage amidst the country’s residents. It has been found that the church has claimed through the billboard that Jesus helps in healing cancer.
It is being said that Equippers Church consists of 150 members in total and on discovering that six members who had cancer have been cured successfully, the church erected the large black and red colored billboard that claimed ‘Jesus heals cancer’.
The report says that the billboard has been put up by the church in the suburb of Tamatea, in Napier. Also, it comprises the message together with names of the six members who have successfully recovered of their situations, in six lines in white.
It has been told by Pastor Lyle Penisula of the church that whilst those who have been treated for cancer are still continuing their prescribed medication. They themselves have seen people recovering from deadly illnesses and the major hand behind their recovery is of Jesus, he claimed.
As per findings of the report, a lady Jody Condin, residing in Taradale, showed much outrage over the claimed fact that Jesus cures cancer patients. It has been discovered that her child, 3, has been suffering from leukaemia, the deadly disease and no cure has been found for him till now.
She further affirmed that the sign by the church has just no evidence. It is of no worth, she said, and has also asked the church to take down the billboard as earlier as possible. However, the church still avows that the sign has been put in order to raise a ray of hope amidst cancer patients.
