Recent findings from researchers somehow are urging parents to stay cautious and notice all the changes that occur in brain development of their babies.
Yes, researchers have found from a research that the Autistic brain shows some changes months before noticing particular symptoms of the illness. They noticed in their research that autistic brain starts showing changes in its development in babies as young as 6 months old i. e. only half a year or sometimes even more before their parents actually start noticing the so-called condition symptoms.
The findings in a manner are teaching the parents about the fundamental differences that naturally exist in the brains of autistic children. Also, the findings are urging the parents not to ignore any of the noticeable changes in their children and the advantages of earlier detection and treatment, says Co-author Mr. Geraldine Dawson, Chief Science Officer at Autism Speaks, a big financial help to the study in today's American Journal of Psychiatry.
Autism generally starts showing its affects on the brain of the baby when he is 6 months old, which are often noticed by the age of one or two and is finally diagnosed when he turns five, delaying major possibilities of early treatment.
Some comments regarding the findings have also come from Autism Researcher Ms. Christine Wu Nordahl, from the University of California-Davis MIND Institute (wasn't involved in the new report), who said in her statement that it’s a general recognition of parents that their child's symptoms have appeared suddenly but that it definitely not true. Also, she said that child’s autism is not caused by vaccines as is being learnt by many couples.
The new study is highlighting the pathway suggesting parents to not ignore any of the silent symptoms of any such changes to give their child the earliest treatment.
