Recently, the arrival of the first full turn-by-turn satellite navigation for the Android platform was confirmed by CoPilot.
The users will be able to get some extraordinary features, like voice-guided turn instructions and 3D mapping, in their Google-based handsets, via CoPilot Live, which is currently available for download from Android Market.
Furthermore, the users would also be able to keep track of their other Android friends, with icons specifying where their friends are at any given period of time.
Till now, CoPilot service was available only for Windows Mobile-based and Symbian handsets. It is thus obvious that its arrival on HTC Magic, T-Mobile G1 and the new HTC Hero will be welcomed by the Android community - as in the phone users, not Blade Runner style replicants.
The cost of the app is £25.99 for UK and Ireland maps, and £59.99 for the whole of Europe.
