In a recent report, it has been revealed that a new breast screening drive has been launched for women in Waikato, the Lakes District and the Bay of Plenty. According to the drive, there has been a new commercial advertisement launched for breast screening in women. It is essential that more and more women in the vicinity take note of this drive and get themselves screened for breast cancer.
This is one of the most gruesome forms of the disease which affects women all over the world. There is a need for more screening programs to be launched so that women all over understand how important it is to take care of their breasts and to get themselves checked for the disease from time to time.
There is also a need for teaching them self-assessment. It is important that even the slightest of lumps in the breast aren't ignored, and a doctor is consulted as soon as possible. Early detection of the disease is one of the main ways in which it can be prevented from growing further. It is important that more and more women are made aware of the fact that breast cancer is a horrible disease and needs to be fought.
"That's why regular breast screening is so important."Women aged between 45 and 69 who are not already part of BreastScreen Aotearoa can register to enroll on-line by going to www. breastscreen. govt. nz, or ringing freephone number 0800 270 200 or 0508 THE GIRLS", said Dr. Diana Balog, the Clinical Director for BSM.
Women needs to be very careful about their bodies and this new advertisement campaign of the screenings will definitely help women in becoming more aware about these needs.
