Youngsters Wake up and Fight Against High Blood Pressure: Time to Live a Healthy Life

Time to Live a Healthy LifeRecently a study has discovered that in the present scenario, the lifestyle of young adults has become so bad that most of them are at a higher risk of stroke and heart attack. The reason behind this is that hectic schedule and poor management of time leads to tension and stress in their life which further results in high blood pressure and then other lethal diseases.

Some of the common factors of unhealthy lifestyles, as mentioned by senior doctors are lack of exercise, desk jobs and buffeting on salty fast foods. All these prospects together contribute in high BP and further heart attack or stroke, even among the young.

According to the figures revealed from LloydsPharmacy show, in a group of people, all below 35 years of age, today almost half of them have blood pressure that is above vigorous limits and one third of them lie in the range which is beyond an acceptable limit.

Since 2003, more than 100,000 blood pressure tests reports have been reviewed and as a result it has been found that 70% of adults are in the unhealthy range.

According to Leslie Hamilton, who is a consultant cardiac surgeon at the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle, "These figures are a real concern and a stark reminder that high blood pressure is a major issue in the UK".

Due to poor lifestyles, more and more youngsters are getting attacked by high blood pressure. Well, according to doctors and surgeons, this can be controlled if people start early taking care of their diet and lifestyle and they make sure to follow regular exercise regimes. Taking medicines on time and being a strict "NO" to smoking and alcohol are other ways of keeping this evil away from life.
