It has been recently revealed that Euro zone countries are not able to reach at a final conclusion on Greece bailout matter. In order to discuss the matter, a meeting has been arranged in which Euro zone finance ministers would take part, said Evangelos Venizelos, who is the Greek Finance Minister.
It would be a telephonic conference, said Venizelos, who further affirmed that initially the meeting was scheduled for Monday, but now it has been postponed for Wednesday. He further affirmed that all the euro zone members have been working hard on the issue, but are not able to zero down on one decision.
Recently in Athens, a meeting was being conducted to discuss about Greece bailout. However, the meeting which continued for 12 hours was not able to decide a safer plan for the country. Venizelos said, "I will participate in a Eurogroup telephone conference at 1230 GMT" to discuss details of a rescue deal for Greece worth 130 billion euros ($171 billion) which officials have been trying to seal since October”.
Another matter that would likely become a topic of discussion in meeting is further cuts in labor costs in Greece, on which Venizelos is not agreeing. Three organizations, which earlier helped Greece in bail out, have said that the country should further decline labor costs. But Venizelos said that it would affect their position even more badly. They are already deep under debts and this decision in prevailing recession time would leave them bankrupt.
In addition, Venizelos would attend a meeting with his cabinet ministers and would discuss with them about the topics that is going to be discussed with senior auditors from the EU, IMF and ECB.
