Auckland Population Now Reads 1.5 Million

AucklandIt has recently been revealed that there was the birth of the 1.5 millionth resident of Auckland. The name of the little one is Ramonah Patience Toomallatai, and she is the daughter of Tutasi and Sulia. She is their third child altogether.

She is a young history maker, and she came to the world at the Middlemore Hosptial in Auckland a few minutes past midnight. She had a healthy body weight of 4.3 kg, at the time of birth. The mother was still in her contraction pains when the midwife had told her that her baby was going to be the 1.5 millionth citizen of the city.

The mother was really happy to hear this and wished her baby would do really well, and become a worthy citizen of the nation.

“[Auckland is] growing at a real pace and a reminder to us with a new birth that we need to be really planning for the future, to invest in this city so that it becomes truly the world’s most livable city”, said the Mayor of Auckland.

There is a need for people of the place to give a little attention towards the way the population is increasing. There is a need to practice more family planning and make way for a better development of the city, with controlled population, so that the people could live comfortably in their given conditions.

The mayor of the city visited the baby on this occasion and was of the view that there is a need to ensure that by the time the population reaches 2 million, they make sure right decisions are made for the community so that the place becomes a beautiful one, something that Ramonah can be proud of, when she grows up.
