Dairy Products May help in Losing Weight

DairyIt has been recently revealed according to a new research that as it was previously believed, dairy products are not a dieter’s enemy. For the same, there have been clinical trials done on as many as 883people, and it has been found that consuming, milk, cheese, or yoghurts aren’t going to harm the waistlines of people, and wouldn’t tend to interfere with their dieting. This means that dairy products don’t tend to make people fat.

This study published in the International Journal of Obesity is of the view that dairy products will actually tend to help people while they are dieting. It will tend to give their bodies enough nutrition and this would make the body rich in protein. It would further mean that one’s body is receiving daily energy, without excess carbohydrates, and this would mean one might surely experience weight loss.

"Dairy consumption would help people to lose weight from fat compartments of the body, particularly from abdominal adipose tissue, which has been reported as a main determinant of cardiovascular risk factors”, said the review.

Dairy Australia dietician Glenys Zuccois is of the view that this is an excellent way to lose weight. This is because dairy products tend to provide enough nutrition and calcium, for sustaining one throughout the day, while keeping one away from excess fat, and helping in controlling one’s hunger as well.

This would mean that one would not need to suffer from the hunger pangs anymore. Losing weight wouldn’t have to be a torture anymore. Proteins are god for the body; it’s actually the carbohydrates, and calories that develop into fat.

This new research should definitely be helpful in clearing the minds of the people who are looking to go on a diet. They should now be able to consider dairy products as their friends not enemies.
