A recent report has revealed that Coles has recalled its Chicken & Vegetable Pies over suspicions that it might contain chicken bone fragments. It has asked consumers to return the products to any of the three stores, namely Coles, BI-LO and Pick 'n' Pay, all over Australia and get their full payment back.
The products are mostly in four-pie packs and weigh around 700g. They are quite famous with youngsters. But, this is the first time that the company which also has its own super stores has to recall its product amid fears that it might contain little pieces of chicken bones.
Coles statement read, “Consumers should not consume this product and return it to their nearest Coles, BI-LO or Pick 'n' Pay store for a full cash refund”. The company has also started a helpline on 1800 061 562 where customers could call and seek further information.
