It has been recently revealed that Jerry Yang, the CEO of Yahoo firm, has resigned from his position. It has been revealed that the co-founder as well as CEO of the firm has given up his position because he wants to pursue other things now.
"As I leave the company I co-founded nearly 17 years ago, I am enthusiastic about the appointment of Scott Thompson as Chief Executive Officer and his ability, along with the entire Yahoo leadership team, to guide Yahoo into an exciting and successful future”, he revealed in his final note. It was further revealed by him that working with the firm was one of the most memorable and rewarding experiences in life, and that he is taking back memories forever.
He further revealed that he shall now pursue his other interest. It was said by Roy Bostock, the Chairman of the Yahoo board that Jerry Yang was one great visionary and pioneer for their firm and has helped to make them reach heights. It was further revealed by him that working with Mr. Yang was an absolute pleasure and his type of strategies and insights into business shall be very valuable for the firm to carry forward with them.
It was further said that the man shall be one of the first faces and the reason for the existence of the company and they wish him all the best for his future.
He has been able to give such a strong ground for the company that makes it sure that the future of the firm is bright and they shall always hold him as one of the building blocks of the firm, one of the main captains of the ship.
