It has been revealed that a failing job atmosphere is one the many things that are going to go wrong, after the failed efforts of the shoe firm Barratts Priceless. After the failed efforts of redeeming sales with the help of tact like concessions and promotion, they are now revealing that as many as 60 people are going to be rendered jobless soon.
There are even more job recession threats with the concessions being offered with Dorothy Perkins stores. The authorities were of the view that as many as 1600, including full time and part time jobs might be on the verge of being lost, with the recent concessions at the retailer's outlets in the nations.
This shall include the stores located at Bradford, Darley Street, the outfit store at Forster Square Retail Park and the Airedale Centre.
The announcements made haven't made any impact on the attempts of the firm to seek a buyer. They are still of the view that their former boss might want to come back and be an owner of a part of the business. The administration however revealed that they have so far not been capable of finding a buyer for their firm.
"Accordingly, the joint administrators have regretfully had to make approximately 1,610 Barratts Priceless Group full and part-time employees working in the various concessions redundant", revealed Daniel Butters, the partner and joint administrator at the restructuring services in Deloitte.
It's a matter of time to see what the turn of events goes like, and whether or not the firm can find an efficient buyer. It is however going to be crucial to see over 1000 people lose their jobs in one go.
