Public Health England To Bring Job Opportunities For Health Workers

Public Health England To Bring Job Opportunities For Health Workers Soon an organization would be set up which would supervise council-run projects such as programmes in regard to tackle obesity, helping smokers and drinkers to refrain from alcohol and tobacco products.

Public Health England would have its base quarter in London. Its only aim would be to ‘protect and improve the health and wellbeing of the population’. This organization would bring double happiness as it would not only work for the benefit of general population, it would also make sure that it brings job opportunities.

Thousands of employees who have been and would be sacked out from government run health organizations would be recruited here. It would be a big organization which would have many tiers to it and as per workers experience, they would be recruited.

Ministers have already filled 5, 000 posts in different branches, revealed a source. The organization, which would not open before 2013, has to make sure that it is able to rehire maximum workers which are about to or have lost their jobs due to Government’s efficiency drive.

The Department of Health confirmed the news by saying that majority of the sacked out staff would be rehired and would be given same posts which they were handling earlier. Some of the many agencies whose staff would be recruited in the new organization are the Health Protection Agency, the National Treatment Agency for Substance Misuse and the ten Strategic Health Authorities.

Organization’s headquarter would remain in London, but it would have regional offices at South London, the Midlands and East Anglia and North London to check the working across the country.

There are greet hopes from the organization, said Health Secretary Andrew Lansley. He further affirmed that he wants the organization should closely monitor the work of councils. It has also to make sure that the organization’s level increases with every passing day.
