iOS Bug Allows Malware to Be Sold in Apple StoreApple has recently confirmed in its statement about the exclusive services of the Apple’s voice assistant Siri to the iPhone 4S only.

The statement got confirmation when while answering an inquiry, of developer Mr. Michael Steeber, about possible special Siri-enabled iOS for iPod touch and iPhone 4 owners, Apple responded with a big “no” in its statement.

“Siri only works on iPhone 4S and we currently have no plans to support older devices”, wrote Apple’s representative in the answer. Explaining their comment, Apple further cleared about the exclusivities that the company wants to offer to the customers of iPhone 4S, which has Siri as its most recognizable features.

Apple is sure for the time being about its comment and has no comment to make upon any of the future terms and workings. Siri has facilitated Apple iPhone 4S owners with some much enhanced benefits of chatting and many more applications with their phone.

Apple also cleared the airs of introducing Siri, the voice controlled personal assistant service, that is presently available on the iPhone 4S, to any other or older device of the company.

To restrict any developer’s attempt to implement unofficial access to Siri on iPhone 4, iPad 2 and other earlier iOS devices, Apple was also questioned by one coder on any of its suggestions in the matter in case anyone release a paid upgrade for users to get official Siri support but Apple’s response wasn’t as clear as was expected.

Apple’s confirmation of not bringing Siri to any other iOS products as well has definitely disappointed the owners of earlier iOS products, who had high hopes that Apple would extend the current Siri beta for their hardware.
