A police search team has found missing businessman Grant Atkinson alive in Huapai Domain around 9 am today. He was missing from Tuesday when he left his ampbells Bay home on Auckland's North Shore for going on work.
Grant Atkinson is a finance executive with a local firm and could not return to work on Tuesday after a break. Police had found his car in a rural area north west of Auckland on Friday.
Police authorities, after conducting his medical examination, found that he is physically well but mentally stressed. Police will remain Atkinson in custody for some time for getting his assistance in the investigation in to the incidence.
Inspector Les Paterson told, "We believe he's been sleeping rough in the area, though not in the domain itself, for the past four nights since his car was parked at the Huapai Domain on Tuesday evening."
The inspector thanked public for its support for finding 48 year-old missing businessman without any obvious harm. He hoped that police, investigating the matter, will soon find the truth behind the episode.
