In order to make sure seasonal flu cases decrease this time, the Roanoke City and Alleghany Health District officials recently took a very innovative step.
This time, officials have decided to provide the vaccination camps at different city corners across the nation.
According to reports, health officials have opened a new health camp at the Valley View Mall premises and all the residents could easily enter the Mall premises to get the life saving shots for the deadly flu effects.
Meanwhile, with all these flu shots, the officials further accounted that all the nearby clinics would also be kept opened 24x7 for residents, and they could straightly enter the clinics without taking any prior appointments.
In the meantime, health experts also affirmed that all the pregnant women along with all the kids, aged six months and more, should immediately get vaccination shots.
Sharing his views about these health plans, Roanoke City's M. D and Director, Stephanie Harper said, "Every year there is illness and death as a result of the flu".
For any further details about health camps, the residents are advised to use Google flu locator.
