The Mini Moke's spiritual successor would be introduced at the upcoming the North American International Detroit Motor Show. The new model has a funky look besides features that could add its sale potential in the country. Mini got huge response in the US market and the brand established a large number of dealership in US to cater growing demand.
The Beachcomber supports more advanced frame and a high-riding stance but completely open sides. This is meant for four passengers to access their raised seats with much comfort. Passengers can also fit a soft tonneau-style roof for mitigating the chances to crash with flying bees.
It also supports removable plastic panels and a spare wheel holder. The Moke, however, got cold welcome in sunny Australia and Portugal. The Beachcomber offers ultra-clean and efficient driving qualities with its own door, and four-wheel drive, which was earlier introduced in the open Mini Moke of the 1960s.
The Mini E, with a maximum cruising range of 250 kilometers, is powered by an electric motor delivering 204 horsepower besides supporting a lithium-ion battery.
