Vietnam is all set to eradicate the blotch of bird flu from its ground. As per reports, the Vietnamese Prime Minister has finally given a nod for the financial stimulus of 25 million U. S. dollars loans for the "Vietnam avian and human influenza control and preparedness project (VAHIP)".
With the reports of bird flu cases raining from all the corners of Vietnam, the government raised collaborative fund from the International Development Association of World Bank and the multi-donor Avian and Human Influenza Facility.
There have been confirmed reports that bird flu is spiraling across the region and considering the gravity of the situation, government roped in the agricultural minister and the Ministry of Health to keep a track of the current situation so that a full fledge mechanism can be introduce to combat the medical emergency.
The offered investment is going to improve the standard medical practices followed in medical centers and veterinary centers across the 11 cities, including Lang Son, Hanoi, Thai Binh, Thanh Hoa, Ha Tinh, Thua Thien Hue, Binh Dinh, Tay Ninh, Long An, Tien Giang and Dong Thap so that potential risk of bird flu can be averted to the fullest.
