Man Cleared of Charge of Stealing a 99-Cent Hot Dog

Recently, a man named John Richardson was charged for stealing a 99-cent hot dog after he picked up the snack and ate it while shopping in a grocery store in Washington and forgot to pay for it when he got to the checkout.
The store manager had to call the police after the confrontation but later he was cleared of the theft charge as the jurors took only 5 minutes to reach the verdict.

Feds to remotely remove Coreflood botnets from affected PCs

The US federal authorities have been given time until May 25 to contact owners of computers infected by the Coreflood botnet Trojan to convince them to allow authorities to remotely remove the malware from their machines.
US District Judge Vanessa Bryant of Connecticut approved the motion earlier this week.
