Russians engineers say radio interference caused Progress docking abort

In a Saturday statement, explaining to the unmanned Progress supply ship’s failed docking attempt at the International Space Station (ISS), Russian engineers said that the problem apparently resulted from some radio interference.

According to US and Russian space officials, an unmanned Russian cargo vessel failed to dock with the International Space Station (ISS) on Friday because of a flawed radio link. The officials also revealed that the spaceship is under control.

Russian President, Dmitry Medvedev has raised doubts over the future of BP, stating that the oil giant might have to face extinction after the Gulf of Mexico oil spill.
In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, he explained the spill as a wake-up call, and said optimistically that BP can carry the load of all the losses.

NZ to Initiate FTA Negotiations

Trade Minister Tim Groser proclaimed, yesterday, that New Zealand and Russia, with with its Customs Union partners of Belarus and Kazakhstan, will initiate the FTA negotiations.
"Russia has agreed to proceed towards a formal trade agreement with New Zealand, subject to a satisfactory outcome of scoping discussions," he said.
