Independent News & Media (INM) said recently that in Australasia none of its publishing assets are being disposed of. Ireland-based INM said that it was commenting on recent erroneous press reports.

INM said that even in Ireland, Britain and South Africa, the publishing assets were not being disposed of.

Via an announcement, it commented that it was again extending a financial standstill agreement relating to a 200 million euro ($NZ440.81 million) bond.

Google Android handsets get turn-by-turn sat nav

Recently, the arrival of the first full turn-by-turn satellite navigation for the Android platform was confirmed by CoPilot.

The users will be able to get some extraordinary features, like voice-guided turn instructions and 3D mapping, in their Google-based handsets, via CoPilot Live, which is currently available for download from Android Market.

Furthermore, the users would also be able to keep track of their other Android friends, with icons specifying where their friends are at any given period of time.
