Two Auckland healthcare providers have been highly criticized for their action of illegally holding a 43 years old woman in a secure dementia unit for more than a year. They both have also been ordered to pay compensation to the victim’s daughter who had to suffer a lot. The victim had recently died.

It seems that there is some breather for the people in Auckland as there was no more life claimed over the long weekend due to Legionnaires' disease. It was some seven weeks ago that the disease caught the attention of the health experts with as many as 12 hospitalized, including one death early this month.

It has been reported that the number of cases administered of those suffering from Legionnaires Disease in Auckland have increased in the past six weeks.

Recently, the Auckland Regional Public Health Service has announced the outbreak of Legionnaires’ disease. However, till now, it has not been revealed as to how the disease became so potent. It has been informed that an elder woman have succumbed to death after being affected with Legionnaires' disease.

There are a lot of unknown diseases coming in front of us these days and a lot of lives are lost because of such lethal diseases. There are some cases in which the people don't even come to know the exact cause and name of the disease even before that life ends.
