Campaigners and activists are encouraging people in the Bay of Plenty area to participate in the Pink Ribbon Breakfast event that is aimed at raising funds for the NZ Breast Cancer Foundation.

Activists said that registrations are open for the Pink Ribbon Breakfast event. Celebrity cook Chelsea Winter is also encouraging people in the area to invite their friends to breakfast in May to raise funds for the charity. The NZ Breast Cancer Foundation is aiming to cross the number of 84 breakfasts that was recorded in the previous year.
