O2 tests free VoIP calls serviceUK mobile phone operator O2 is trialing a Voice over IP (VoIP) service, called O2 Connect, which allows iPhone and Android handsets to make calls to mobile phones as well as landlines for free.

Currently available only to a small number of the invite-only customers, the new VoIP service requires the downloading of the Connect application and a WiFi hotspot.

Available for Android and iPhone, Priority Moments makes use of GPS technology to track customers and offer them vouchers, discounts and other deals. Offers are delivered on the screens of customers' handsets to allow them to redeem available deals.

This Telefonica-owned company seemingly has extended his remittance as the deal spoke of Azzurri managing only directly acquired O2 customers.
