NZ Postal Costs Go Up

Peter FentonThe New Zealand Postal Service has proclaimed a 10 cents increment in the costs of stamps utilized per letter.

The new costs will be observed from October 1. As yet, each letter bears a 50 cents stamp while the costs will be raised to 60 cents.

The postal cost revision will also see an increment in the costs of larger letters and those sent across via FastPost.

A total amount of $45.5 million was achieved by New Zealand Post’s seven property sell down; however the company has not revealed the identity of the purchaser.

As of now, New Zealand Post media communications manager Keith FitzPatrick would not reveal the prices of each individual property, except the $45.5 million total of all seven sales.
