As per reports, it has been revealed that Intel has released its first ever Atom smartphone known as Lava's Xolo X900. It is said that the phone will be available in India by next week.

Intel buys mobile navigation software firm Telmap

Going on with its buying spree, renowned chipmaker Intel Corp has agreed to buy Israel-based mobile navigation software maker Telmap.
Announcing the deal in a blog posting, Intel said that Israeli mobile software firm would become its wholly-owned subsidiary. Touting the deal, Telmap said it was happy to be acquired by Intel.
Intel shows off its low power processor ‘Claremont’

At its annual developer conference last week in San Francisco, chip-maker Intel showed off a prototype CPU – code-named ‘Claremont’ - which was the size of a postage stamp and boasted such a low power rating that can potentially run personal computers (PCs) on solar power!
