Citroen has increased the appeal of its matchless DS4 coupe crossover with the accumulation of a sturdy engine matched to a six speed automatic gearbox, increaing performance whereas adding the expediency of a self-shifting gearbox.

Citroen will roll out its first sport utility vehicle in the New Zealand market by the coming month with the onset of the Citroen C4 AirCross that will also complete its family of `four' models, with the C4 AirCross conjoining the Citroen C4, Citroen C4 Picasso and Citroen DS4 to offer a unique range in the same size category.

Citroen’s DS4, the five-door crossover hatchback that was voted the “Most Beautiful Car of the Year” in a web poll earlier this year, will hit the UK roads in early July.

The 2011 Citroen DS4, which is based on C4 hatchback and blends coupe and SUV design cues, will be available in three trim levels- DSign, DStyle and DSport.

The 2011 Citroen DS4, the five-door crossover hatchback that was first unveiled at 2010 Paris Motor Show, will hit Australian roads in December this year.

The Citroen DS4 will become the second premium car in DS array of Citroen’s cars after the DS3, which was rolled out in Australia in September last year.

Experts have termed Citroen's new DS3 as an "impressive effort", but it seems to be more than just a really good car. It is also the first model in a whole range of parallel range of new DS models, which have specifically been designed to be more "modern and funkier" than other models of the firm, which are more conventional.

The new DS3, it seems, has been released as a potential rival for BMW's Mini and the C3.
