Several tourists and their leader were fined $125 each for neglecting warnings and getting very close to Yellowstone National Park's famous Old Faithful Geyser.
There are frequent warning signs in several languages to prevent visitors from getting too close to dangerous boiling-hot geysers, thermal pools and mud pots.

Expedia’s Chairman, Barry Diller, a media billionaire, has joined a host of companies that have planned to split and spin off units this year. According to reports, their plans to split into two publicly traded companies through the proposed spin-off of its TripAdvisor business, could help unlock value for the high-growth TripAdvisor travel site business as the company focuses on investing in products that will enhance its competitive positioning.

Submitted by Amandeep Menon on Sat, 01/29/2011 - 18:53London is all set to get its first cruise liner terminal. The plans are approved by the Greenwich Council. Enderby Wharf will be providing the docking for cruise liners and the Thames Clipper along with 251-room hotel and 770 new homes.
The work for the same will start at the end of 2011. It is though subjected to approval from Greater London Authority, and expected to end in four to five years.
The developers are hoping that the terminal will be completed before the London Olympics in 2012.
New constructions to be set up at Lyttelton

The first cruise-ship berth will be constructed by the Port of Lyttelton to make the most of the tourism market.
The company has alleged that the berth cost of the construction is near about $13.7 million by the end of next year.
Chief executive Peter Davie has supposed that the next year there will be visiting of 72 from cruise ships as hoped by the port. It will be above $30 million to the Canterbury economy.
