In a move that satisfies as many as nine out of the top 20 requests that Google Apps users frequently make to the company, Google announced on May 6 that by summer this year, Google Apps users will be able to sign in to other Google properties – like Google Reader, Blogger, YouTube, iGoogle, and Picasa Web Albums – using their Apps email address and password.

In a keenly contested award ceremony Datacom edged others to win the Company of the Year Award during the annual New Zealand Hi-Tech Awards held in Auckland last night. The company employs more than 300 people across the globe and has its presence in New Zealand, Australia and South East Asia. The revenue generated by the technology company is more than $600 million.
Intuit’s Mint.com launches Android app

In an attempt to cash in on the market trends towards the Google Android adoption, the Android version of Mint. com, Intuit’s personal online financial service, has launched been launched on Monday.
Similar to the Mint. com iPhone app, the new Mint. com Android app also gives users the opportunity to view balances, forecast cash flow, review budgets, set alerts, and drill down to view individual transactions.
