Gas Prices Rise in a Week

Gas prices were though not in a particular pattern during summer, a recent report has unveiled. But, an increase in the same on a constant basis over a week has made one and all in the industry to think and predict that it might touch or even exceed the $4 a gallon mark.
Sacramento Fuel prices remain stable, while some regions bear the hike

According to the latest weekly report presented by a website that talks of the fuel prices, comparing different area fuel prices, SactoGasPrices. com. It said that Sacramento area gas prices did not move over the past week and remained at an average $4.08 a gallon.
While the previous week the gas prices of the area fell 0.4 cents a gallon.
RMI Chief Raises Concerns Over Fuel Shortage

As per reports, it has been revealed that Brian Madderson of the Retail Motor Industry (RMI) has raised concerns about the shortage of fuel. He is also the chairman of the body, which represents 5,000 independent petrol stations, and being a chairman, he has called up a meeting with the ministers to discuss the condition with them.

According to sources, it has been revealed that UK has launched its second competition, inviting all the power plant companies to come up with workable models of techniques to capture carbon dioxide.
The competition worth £1bn has come up just after six months of the first project failed, due to financial disagreements between the Scottish power company and the government.

Spanish Wind Power Company Gamesa has chosen the Edinburgh port of Leith to manufacture plants. This comes as a big boon for the local community as this eventually gives employment to over 800 people and thousands more as the supply chain.
