Ford Releases Q3 Earnings; US Overbalances Europe's Losses

Quarterly earnings have been recently released by Ford Motor Co. F -0.29%, as per a recent report. And there is hardly any change in these if compared to the earnings of last year for Q3.
It is being said that this is because the North American performance was so good that it outweighed losses in Europe. Not only the North American power, but another fact has come out that Europe has still a long way to go ahead.

Suffering their worst financial loss in their 73 years of existence, Hewlett-Packard reportedly lost $8.9 billion in its third fiscal quarter. The management has warned the company could struggle in the coming year 2013 as well. In a statement issued by HP CEO Meg Whitman on Wednesday, said, "HP is still in the early stages of a multi-year turnaround, and we're making decent progress despite the headwinds.
