Toyota may commence retail sales of its first $50,000 fuel-cell car by 2015

According to a Bloomberg report, Yoshihiko Masuda, managing director of advanced vehicles at Toyota Motor Corp., has confirmed that the automaker has reduced the cost of manufacturing fuel-cell vehicles by 90 percent, and may likely commence the sales of its first retail hydrogen vehicle by 2015.
Ford Australia sees first annual profit since 2005

Ford Australia announced today that it has registered its first annual profit in past four years. Ford Australia reported a net profit of $A13 million for the fiscal 2009 against a loss of $A274 million in FY 2008.
The company said that the net profit was mainly attributable to the improved company cost structure and the non repeat of one time actions associated with the restructure plans. Ford also said that it is very optimistic for the year
2010 and 2011.

It has been reported that the Alfa Romeo Giulietta, which is a petite family car, comes with a starting price of £16,995.
The latest five-door model is aimed at the likes of the VW Golf and Ford Focus. The car will be launched in Britain at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, in July.
The car provides a choice of five engines and three conventional trims and also the range-topping Cloverleaf.
