Sony unveils new PlayStation 4 Pro console

On Wednesday, Sony announced the much-reported new and more powerful version of its PlayStation 4 (PS4) gaming console --- the PlayStation 4 Pro.

The naming of the new console as PS4 Pro indicates that it is a part of the existing PS4 console, and not the next-generation model of PlayStation hardware. Though the PS4 Pro is not a completely new architecture when compared to the standard PS4 model, it chiefly targets higher-end gamers.

LG announces new Android smartphone --- V20

In a Tuesday announcement, LG unveiled a new Android handset which is the successor to the company's V10 smartphone launched in 2015. The new handset -- which was press previewed by LG executives in New York City -- is called the LG V20.

Announcing the new V20 smartphone, LG said that the handset is scheduled for a global release this month. The handset will be available in three color options -- Silver, Titan (dark gray), and pink -- and its cost will vary by carrier.
